My Cam4 Review: Is It a Worthy Platform?

Hi, It’s Kira again and this is my Cam4 review for both viewers and models. In this article, I will show you my average earnings on Cam4, how Cam4 works, the price of Cam4 tokens, and all the most relevant information available about this cam site.

I have been working on Cam4 for around 3-years as a model, and I think it’s a site that has the potential to serve as a launching pad when it comes to broadcasting on other cam sites. My Average Earnings as a Model on Cam4

As I have already mentioned, I'm still broadcasting as a model on Cam4. I do split cams between both Cam4 and Chaturbate though. This way, I can broadcast on several sites at the same time and get even more traffic, while still working the same amount of hours. 

My average monthly earnings on Cam4 are about $2000. It may not seem like a lot at first, but I also haven’t included what I make on other sites at the same time. Also, the earnings from my fan club are much higher than I initially anticipated. Taking all of that into account, I make closer to around $2500 a month (or more). This is a case-by-case basis though and when you're first starting, you should have aspiring goals, but also be realistic.

Top Earners Make EVEN MORE Money!

I don't consider myself a top model on Cam4 by any means, but I don't think I'm someone who is struggling on the platform either. I know the top models earn quite a bit more than I do at the moment and that's my main motivation to keep trying. I know a few models who have been on Cam4 longer than me and one of them has admitted making over $5000 in a month, and that’s just on Cam4 alone.

Cam4 models earn $0.10 per token, so for every 10 tokens, they’ll earn $1. The percentage of commission the model earns depends on how much the client paid for the tokens.

For example, if a client has paid $9.95 for 50 tokens, the model gets 50% of what they paid ($4.97). If they bought 1050 tokens for $159.99, the model gets 62.5% ($100.31). The percentage varies between 50% and 62.5%, with the higher percentages being applied for customers who have purchased a higher tier of token packs.

Conclusion: Is Cam4 Worth Consideration?

I would argue that Cam4 is one of the top 5 webcam model platforms on the web today. It receives millions of hits daily and there is no reason to dismiss it without at least trying it. From a viewer's standpoint, Cam4 is also one of the best cam sites if you are looking for amateur models. 

Although there are also professional models on the platform and plenty of well-known faces, the truth is that most of the girls you'll find here are amateur. That gives it an ingredient of authenticity that is hard to find elsewhere, and that’s why it can also be so lucrative as a model.

If you’re a model and considering Cam4 as your main platform, there is one thing in particular that I would keep in mind. In every corner of the Internet, there are negative opinions of any cam site and Cam4 is no exception, but I sincerely believe that it is a good platform to broadcast on! 

This rings especially true for amateur models with little to no experience. In my opinion, Cam4's audience is certainly not the best-paying, but there are many other platforms where you’d be worse off in comparison. 

True Flexibility for Aspiring Models

It is a good site to do a SplitCam process with to try and multiply your earnings, as it allows you to broadcast on several sites at the same time. It also offers freedom when it comes to making your shows and you can earn money in many different ways. 

You can broadcast in free chat, talk in private or group shows, and not mention that you can sell videos or photos from your profile even if you are not online. Personally, I'm doing quite well on Cam4 and it's a site I will continue to use as long as it makes me money. Its main perk is that it allows split camming, so I don't spend more time on it than I already would on other platforms. And you know what they say, that time is money. Isn't that a sweet deal?
